Summit was born through a collaboration between a global M&A firm and an innovative financial technology firm, to solve the key challenges in the private capital markets. We combined our dealmaking and technology expertise, to create an end-to-end solution for Founders, Investors and LPs to streamline raising, investing and exiting in the private markets.

The firm has over 25 years of transactional experience and access to 3,000 + global investors within their network. We saw the constant pain-points experienced during transactions and embarked on a journey to solve these, using technology.

A seasoned technology company, based in Europe, the US and Africa. They have extensive experience in the banking and financial services sectors, specialising in building transactional platforms for leading African banks, as well as global investors.

AJ Coetzee is an experienced M&A lawyer and executive, specialising in transactional dealmaking. Over the last 25 years, he has led major cross-border, M&A and investment transactions globally. He brings extensive private capital market expertise to the table, and ensures that the technology is built according to a structured, streamlined methodology.
John Campbell is a technology innovator, with over 25 years of experience in building disruptive startups and corporate ventures. He specialises in Blockchain and AI, and has been a CTO and CEO at large banks, media companies, blockchain and spatial analytics startups. He plays a pivotal role in formulating Summit’s technology strategy, as well as future proofing the business.
Ben is an M&A dealmaker and entrepreneur, with a background in Law and Finance. He has previously founded various startups in the luxury and corporate branding industry, before joining the M&A world. He focussed on M&A, growth-stage fundraising and global restructuring. He heads up growth, distribution and commercialisation of the Summit ecosystem.
Michail Scholiadis

Michail has a background in Finance, Economics and Technology. He specialises in data science and analytics, focussed on building technology in the telecoms, financial services, and media industries. He pioneered and managed the fintech division within BSC Global, which focussed on building transaction platforms. He heads up the development of the Summit platform product and team.
